On July 21, the Ministry of Science, Technology, Quality and Information Technology of China National Nuclear Corporation Limited (CNNC) held a scientific and technological achievement appraisal meeting on "New main control room lighting device for nuclear Power plant" jointly developed by CNNC and Anhui Yanyang Electric Group Co., LTD in Tianchang City, Anhui Province.


Mr. Wang Peng, Director of the Achievement Office of the Ministry of Science, Technology, Quality and Information Technology of CNNC, chaired the appraisal Committee, with Mr. Ye Qizhen, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Mr. Lang Aiguo, Deputy Chief Engineer of the Center for Nuclear and Radiation Safety of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and Mr. Dai Hongyu, Electrical supervisor of China Zhongyuan Foreign Engineering Co., LTD., as the Deputy director of the Appraisal Committee. Many experts from the Nuclear Energy Industry Association, Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research and Design Institute, Tsinghua University, China Nuclear Power Research and Design Institute, CNNC Nuclear Power Operation and Management Co., LTD., Fujian Fuqing Nuclear Power Co., LTD., Jiangsu Nuclear Power Co., LTD., CNNC Guodian Zhangzhou Energy Co., LTD., etc. were invited to participate in the evaluation and identification.


The APPRAISAL COMMITTEE HEARD THE REPORT AND SUMMARY REPORT OF THE JOINT RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PROJECT OF MAIN CONTROL ROOM LIGHTING DEVICE BY Chen HUAIYU, DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF THE ELECTRICAL DESIGN INSTITUTE OF CNNC, AND ZHENG JINSHAN, DIRECTOR OF THE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT OF ANHUI YANYANG ELECTRIC GROUP CO., LTD. Classics appraisal committee of experts inquiries and discussions, joint YanZhiZu areas set up to simulate the master control room in accordance with the working condition of Ming points on average illuminance, intensity of illumination uniformity, unified glare and lighting power density values and other technical indicators by the third party test, completed the conventional electrical performance, aging, a full set of type test and seismic evaluation test, the results meet the design specification and standard requirements, It has the advantages of long life, high light efficiency, easy maintenance, energy saving and environmental protection.


The expert group of the Appraisal committee concluded that the achievements have independent intellectual property rights, the technology is independent and controllable, and the overall technology has reached the international advanced level. It can be applied to the lighting of the main control room of nuclear power plants and to other nuclear facilities, with good social and economic benefits and prospects for popularization and application.


At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of Anhui Yanyang Shi Kai, on behalf of Anhui Yanyang Electric Group, expressed warm congratulations on the successful approval of the joint research and development project of lighting equipment in the main control room of nuclear power plant. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Academician YE and other expert leaders for their long-term care and support to Yanyang Electric. Anhui YANYANG WILL FULLY ABSORB THE OPINIONS AND SUGGESTIONS OF the EXPERTS, and accelerate the improvement and implementation, so as to put the appraisal results of this project on the market at an early date and make a contribution to the development of nuclear power industry.
